Boasting so much more than the ability to camouflage acne and dark spots, it also works to blur and smooth skin texture and fine lines, brighten the under-eye area with niacinamide, and hydrate and plump with a hyaluronic acid complex. <h3 class="subhead3-embed color-body bg-base font-accent font-size text-align">Why did you decide to create the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Concealer?</h3>
<p>I really wanted to take your complexion experience to the next level. We had such a beautiful time formulating our foundation that it needed its little sister, but we wanted to make something that did a little something extra. This concealer brightens under the eyes the way you want concealer to but even better, it uses niacinamide. [It] conceals in the most beautiful way with a creamy texture, and then it blurs as well. It has a wonderful way of going into your fine lines and wrinkles. But the extra thing that our concealer does is it depuffs underneath your eyes. After two weeks of using the product, you will see a visible difference underneath. I am so pᴀssionate about makeup because it&#8217;s a way for me to express my creativity but not just in the way that it looks—it&#8217;s about what&#8217;s inside of it. My creativity for my makeup company is driven into the formulation. We spent a lot of time; this has gone through so many iterations and it&#8217;s finally here.</p>

<p>I wanted to make sure that we were truly inclusive and also that you&#8217;re not only including everyone with a shade match, but that you are giving everyone beautiful color options. The undertones have to really be right. We spent a lot of time shade matching and developing the colors to make sure that everyone had a beautiful experience with the concealer.</p>
<h3 class="subhead3-embed color-body bg-base font-accent font-size text-align">What makes Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Concealer different from other concealers on the market?</h3>
<p>The depuffing element is definitely the thing that makes it the most different from other concealers. But another thing that makes it very special is that you can wear it on its own. Sometimes when you wear concealer it can be so brightening and the texture can be different that you feel like now I have to do a full face of makeup and put foundation on. You don&#8217;t have to do that with this concealer. You can press it into your skin in any areas that are dark under the eyes or any redness on the skin or any pigmentation that you want to even out. You can also use it along the jawline or cheekbone to give you a little lift. It&#8217;s evening and sculpting. It gives you that extra glow but without feeling like you have to put a ton of makeup on your face, which I really liked because I can use it later if I want to do a full face of makeup.</p>

<h3 class="subhead3-embed color-body bg-base font-accent font-size text-align">What are your application tips for using it?</h3>
<p>“I say eyes, even and sculpt. Under the eyes, I take the doe foot—it&#8217;s a beautiful, bendy doe foot that&#8217;s not hard so it&#8217;s not uncomfortable and it&#8217;s a pretty big doe foot which is nice to really cover up those areas—under the eyes and I swipe it from the inner corner of my eye all the way to the outside to cover underneath the eyes and cover any fine lines and wrinkles. Then I go over any areas that are red to even out the skin tone. That&#8217;s the second thing. Then I take the edge of the doe foot and I do one line against the jawline and one on the cheekbone on either side. That will give you a little bit of lift. Sometimes I will go down the T-zone in the center if I want more brightening there. Then I just press it into the skin. It&#8217;s super, super easy. Basically, that&#8217;s what I do. But what you could do is if you look on your own face and you see the areas where you wish that it was more even, just apply it to those areas only and it&#8217;ll work perfectly.</p>
<h3 class="subhead3-embed color-body bg-base font-accent font-size text-align">How does the concealer share similar technology and ingredients to the Triclone Skin Tech Foundation?</h3>
<p>The foundation has 20-plus skincare ingredients and they&#8217;re very advanced skincare. It&#8217;s the fermented arnica that&#8217;s in it. The inspiration behind it was I was using arnica for years to combat pain and inflammation in my joints. I wondered if it did that for my body, would it do it on skin. So, we went into the lab and said what can be done with arnica? Let&#8217;s see how it works. We made it 860% more potent in the lab. We put it inside the foundation, and then we put it inside the concealer as well. You have all these anti-inflammation properties within the skincare. There&#8217;s no reason that makeup should be bad for your face. There&#8217;s so much science, and there are so many wonderful people working in those labs. If we take our time and move slowly, we can make products that are good for your skin. I want our customers to be out feeling beautiful while the makeup is working away and busy making your skin healthier.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s really a blessing; it makes me feel very, very honored. But I also feel a sense of warmth in my heart too, because I love the beauty community. I think the beauty community can sometimes get a bad rap as being superficial or vain, but there are so many people that inspire each other and themselves every day discovering themselves through beauty, and it&#8217;s really a currency of kindness. The beauty community is vibrant and intelligent, and I want them to know that I see them. These makeup artists are visualizing everybody in the community being at their best every day. And I think that&#8217;s a beautiful thing. Makeup has a strong power to transform and bring happiness.</p>

<h3 class="subhead3-embed color-body bg-base font-accent font-size text-align">You&#8217;ve been very open about talking about self-expression and self-acceptance; how has that conversation evolved since you launched Haus Labs?</h3>
<p>One of the great things about makeup is you can express who you are without having to say it. Not that words are bad, but as somebody that loves music, expressing yourself with makeup is another way to be creative and imaginative with who you are. I didn&#8217;t always feel confident as a young person. I learned about self-care through makeup from my mother, so this is an extension of my upbringing with my family, as well as the beauty community that I met as an artistic person. Being self-expressive is a way to find yourself and I love being a part of making tools for people to have that experience on their own.</p>
